All because, as far as I'm aware, some idiot pulled the fire alarm at 3:45 on a Saturday Morning.

And we were let back in a good ten minutes before the alarm was turned off (Just now)

I think I know what it feels like to be some of you guys just a bit better now. It's not pretty.

Until you wake up because you're on fire.

And then you spend the next (and last) agonizing minutes of your life burning to death.

I would've slept through it.

And if I would've caught fire I would've rolled over and mumbled.

the most I've deviated from a regular 10-12 PM - 6-8 AM sleep schedule has been the couple times I've stayed up until 1 AM for whatever reason (At which point I usually slept in) or when I do sleep in.

I can't live the same kind of lifestyle as some of you guys. I'd go insane or die. or both.

Anyways I think I'm going to try to get a couple more hours of sleep now. Too tired to do the cleaning and programming I planned on working on today, and 4:20 AM Board 8 is not exactly my idea of "fun"

Poor Regaro. Lack of sleep usually puts me in a grumpy mood all day.

I felt the same way when I first showed up to my first duty station. Sleep became a commodity man, it really did lol

One of the things that being affected by depression changed in me is my attitude toward sleep. As a kid, I hated going to bed, and sprung out of bed the moment I woke up. Then I stopped springing up. Then I had the self-authority to not be forced to bed at a time before I was tired. Then I realized I could skip classes in college and started sleeping completely randomly.

I was pretty severely messed up by depression for a while, and my life still isn't at all where I would have hoped it'd have been 13 years ago when I graduated high school, but one of the biggest things I'd change if I could would be to go back to sleeping the way I did when I was like 14-15.

You're in the military, aren't you?

Love those guys to death for doing what they do (Even when I disagree that it needs to be done), but I will never, ever do it.

I couldn't handle it.
