S9 and A&F are both set to be 25 issues long, with the minis coming in at 4 each. Season 9 got off to a much better start than expected after what 8 dove into, though a couple plot twists later I'm wondering where the heck they're taking it. Angel's introduction to the current story doesn't seem to mesh with either the end of AtF or the IDW series as a whole, which would lean toward disregarding them. I was under the impression that AtF is canon while everything after it is a little hazy. They've said that they may eventually get around to introducing some of the Angel characters into the current comics. I mean, people like Connor and Illyria are kind of important.
