I've yet to taste a pizza from any pizza place better than hungry howies regardless if it's a chain or not.

Chain pizzas are often good but not the best. Depends on what you pick. You can not go wrong with a pepperoni or whatever from Pizza Hut.

you can also do much worse, there are a lot of local pizza places out there that legitimately make horrible pizza.

Unless you're eating at dominos, where I've never eaten a good pizza.
