Choose one game from a series long on hiatus (and in some cases clearly presumed dead) to get a sequel. Explain your position using detailed paragraphs and critical analysis... or don't!
And yes, go ahead and pick another game if it's not up there!
Of the games mentioned, I'd love another Mother game. I have complete faith that Nintendo would deliver another enjoyable experience with Mother 4, something I can't say about Square Enix with Chrono Break and Capcom with Mega Man X9. And while another F-Zero game would be a blast, I have modern Wipeout games to satisfy that need.
As far as other preferences, I would really enjoy another Psychonauts game. Any platform.

Well said, heh. That's kinda how I feel about Break in particular. "Damn, I'd love to see it. But then again, I'm not sure they'd pull it off these days."
X9 needs Inafune and I don't think that's possible right now. I also don't need my Chrono Trigger plot getting messed with even more. And didn't Nintendo already kind of hint at a next F-zero for the Wii U.
so Mother 4 I guess, even though that probably means I'll have to wait for years after its release until I can play the fan translation.
Chrono Break. I love Mega Man, but...I'm still too bitter with Capcom to support anything they do at the moment. Break might suck horribly, but I still have more faith in Square-Enix.
Other than the listed games, SHENMUE 3. It'll never happen for many reasons and would drive Sega to bankruptcy if they even tried, but dammit, I loved the first two and still want to see an actual ending. ...No, Yakuza is not a good substitute, so don't bother bringing it up--not bad, but just not the same.
