But yeah it's like, vaguely serviceable, at least. It may actually be on the top half of burn simply because there's so many terrible burn cards out there. I've made decks built around flashback that have gotten good use out of it. The big thing that makes it at least sorta playable there is that it's an instant. I'm pretty sure it's the only instant burn that'll play out of the graveyard outside of flaming gambit.

Off the top of my head, there's only 3 instant speed burn spells in DKA-ISD-ISD draft. Brimstone Volley is better than Fires, but I'd probably put Fires over Geistflame. They probably could have made it cost 1R instead of 2R, but I'm still grabbing it pretty early in pack 1, or if I'm in red.
Well, I wouldn't because I hate DKA-ISD-ISD draft, but if I liked it I'm sure I would.
