That bitterness is so stupid, I can't imagine why anyone would want to eat that. They are 'alright' when sauteed/grilled and with onions on a sandwich/burrito or something, but still, bleh.
That being said, red bell peppers are amazing and my favorite vegetable. Raw only, though, they suck cooked. Why would you ruin that amazing crispy fresh crunchy texture and refreshing, slightly fruity flavor by cooking it and making it all warm and mushy?

I'm also not a huge fan of onions or peppers, but I'll eat them in limited amounts. Same goes for tomatoes; I'm fine with tomato sauce and ketchup and all but actual tomatoes, whether they be cherry tomatoes or sliced tomatoes, are just no good in my opinion. I'll still eat them in most circumstances though since the rest of the sandwich or salad can usually make up for them and hide most of it.
I didn't like mango at first, but then got over it. Same with seafood. When I was younger, my mentality -> "Seafood is the insect of the sea". But then I started stir frying some shrimp and that was the end of that right there.
Also, it's important to cut onion THIN when you're gonna be eating it raw, otherwise it's gonna BURN your insides! Onions are great, but you gotta know how to pull it off.
Cream cheese. Actually, I'm pretty lukewarm on all the "oddball" dairy products such as mayonaise and cottage cheese as well.
Also wine, for all that this is not food technically.
Also, why I don't hate it myself, so much respect for anyone who says bacon (and to a lesser extent, steak, though that one I outright like). The outright worship of that food gets seriously annoying, and no, it doesn't improve everything by being added to it.
