Not sure about the setup. But it says it is airing 2012/13 and will air three nights a week.

Also, Endemol will be assisting the Canadian version as they do with the NA version.

Yes, Raka, it is new. The problem with shows coming to Canada, is worries from producers of over-saturation. US shows air on Canadian stations, so if Canada got Survivor, there would be three seasons airing every year.

They're taking a chance with big brother.

I am going to WORK hard to get on the show. I think I get bonus points for hosting three seasons on board 8 and for being a manager Canada's most iconic chain restaurant >_>

BB Canada will most likely be popularity-based (ala BBUK and every other BB in the world), and less like the US Big Brother format.

I mean, I much prefer the US format, which is more competitive and strategic, and if ever a country were to take the US format into application it would be Canada, but still... I'd wager it's popularity-based.

I hope not, but either way I will still be okay with it. I mean Canadians already have the idea of what BB is (competitive etc) because of the US one airing here. I would like to think they wouldn't go a different route with it.

But let's face it, this is going to be on Slice. Not like this is a CBS production or anything.
