came out yesterday, because nintendo releases almost everything on sundays. if you loved 1 there's no reason why you won't love 2. it's a longer, more open game than the first.

though I had to play it twice, I couldn't beat it the first time through

Pikmin benefits from Wii controls sooooo much

it's probably the one game that's absolutely 110% perfect for transitioning to Wii controls, there's just absolutely no way around it

by swarm stick, do you mean how you could use the c-stick to swing pikmin around you in a circle? sometimes that was better than throwing, since you could get pikmin to hit the target from a different angle.

Couldn't remember but I'm pretty sure you could

so I booted the game up now

hold down on the d-pad and the pikmin swarm in the direction you point, picking up things or attacking monsters they contact

They're all $20. Pikmin 2 just also happens to be a NPC (which means New Play Control, not Nintendo Player's Choice [I thought that too originally])
