The end of that run was a bit painful to watch starting with the Trials Skip. I don't think sub-5:30 was realistic going into there, but a low/mid 5:30:xx time was probably in range, but then things kept going wrong.

I just can't watch WW. Soooo long. Hope he delves into Majora's Mask or back to more OoT goodness.

Is everyone here saying WW is really long? Are the 64 games' speedruns that much shorter? I always thought WW was shorter than at least OoT thanks to the cut content.

OoT is 2:24ish for MST, 21 minutes for any%. WW's any% record is 5:32, so nowhere near close.

The current full Speed Run for OoT is 2 hours 24 minutes, as far as I recall. With a certain new glitch, though, it's completable in a matter of minutes.

Well, ZFG is doing MM. Though I wonder if he'll try to retake OoT any% since he lost it by a second.

IIRC, Cosmo's position on OoT around the time he started WW was that he didn't want any part of the new MST route because he didn't like some of the stuff you have to do there with the cutscene skips/wrong warps, don't know if he's changed his mind on that recently though.

Personally I'd rather watch OoT or MM than WW, but WW is okay too, it just feels like there's a lot of downtime between the really interesting parts of it, not to mention a luck based run killer with the cyclones nearly 2 hours in.

And for completion's sake, the MM WR (any%) is 1:47:47.

The All Masks record which is kind of like the MST equivalent for MM is 2:53:50, so yeah, WW is the much longer game. It was the longest, actually, until Cosmo drove the WR for it as low as he did.

Yeah, MST has an entirely new route that makes use of wrong warps and cutscene skips, so Cosmo's route is outdated. The WR now stands at 2:24:45.

It's been forever since I played WW so I forget everything that is essential, but a few of the more notable things I can recall:

-Skips a few boss keys in dungeons
-Skips the password for the ship
-Skips a boss in Forsaken Fortress 2
-Skips the Cabana Deed
-Skips the Trials in the final dungeon

the other Zeldas aren't that much more exciting though tbh, I'd much rather watch pretty much any other speedrun, besides RPGs
