Additionally, the glass in his neck would probably consist of a piece large enough to slice the jugular as well as some smaller fragments embedded into his neck, as the glass from the explosion would not have been in total solid form.
It is hard to be sure of the trajectory of the wounds due to how damaged the body was by the explosion. It seems like the explosion hit the body at the same time as most of the glass went over his body. Moreover, much of his blood has covered his wounds and without having enough technical ability to diagnose a body, you cannot be sure of how the glass worked. You can however be sure that the body was definitely hit by fragments that happened while the explosion was going on. The neck cuts seem to be very precise, but you can't really tell anything about its velocity/trajectory without a decent lab or at least better illumination than you have in the trial.

this could also explain why L made that announcement earlier about his list of 'suspects' for the trophy stealing. he could easily draw up a list of people who 'had' to be the culprit while not including himself. after all, he could have just snuck out of his room while invisible at any time.

If I made a trap that triggered the explosives, which is the prevalent theory, then there would be evidence that I did so.
Why would you start taking handwriting samples when you knew you couldn't actually compare them without a book?

He immediately takes the paper and asks for hand writing samples. This way, he can wrongly accuse someone of being F. He also claims that his trophy has been destroyed; Kanz has the Chameleon trophy. I believe these two are closely related. It's not really hard to find wood chips to place on yourself.

Hate to disappoint you, but no. I'd rather not have another Spider-Man debacle, thanks though you made me smile. Your logic is inherently flawed considering part of the reason of me going to the library to begin with was to find a book on the subject. It's what libraries are for last I checked.

Imagine this scenario: Solfadore goes to mess with the computer because he's a DICK. He does so. He would only have done this away from Justin and Spiral, so they wouldn't have been near him at the time. Triggers an explosion.

don't even see this being remotely possible. nobody is going to risk getting themself killed if they honestly know who the culprit is. the only person who has reason to lie under the new ruleset is the culprit. furthermore, if that WAS your strategy, why would you reveal it?

I will say that Silver's actions if he's the murderer would make absolutely no goddamn sense. Like. There's a ploy and then there's revealing your entire hand immediately to throw people off guard.
seriously. there is no evidence that shackles me to the crime. If I just sat back and said absolutely nothing, then everyone would have voted suicide or spiral.
The explosives and books are in ruins. There is no video evidence of me hiding the bomb. The two people who knew about the explosives are dead. It's a perfect crime, assuming I'm the killer.
I'll go ahead and also state now that last reason is also why I believe L either doesn't exist or is some kind of complete moron (or the gentleman thief/invisible thief/some combination thereof). If L really has information he believes is pertinent to solving the case and thinks that Silver is innocent he would have come forward with it without undermining his own credibility by acting anonymously. There's no reason to do this when your own life is literally on the line if the correct culprit isn't executed.
however, the presence of an additional persona in the game that can provide support to a culprit/thief without having to confirm the identity of that person is a very handy tool for someone looking to mislead people. so, yeah, personally I'm going to have a hard time taking anything "L" says into consideration.

It's pretty clear the whole,"I told Solfa the computer had explosives on it," was a lie on Silver's part. Dick or not, I don't believe Solfa's technical expertise or not would risk his life knowing the computer could blow up.

they actually make perfect sense because of the fact that he used a Monobear trap to kill them. his original plan was to make the conditions of the death vague enough that it would be difficult to consider him the killer and he could make the argument that it was Suicide via Monobear trap. that's actually a very clever murder because he can literally just make the argument that he did tamper with those materials but his tampering wasn't the cause of their death which is very hard to argue for or against.
I think blabbing the info he did to Regaro (who chose to share it with us, NOT Silver himself) was a mistake on his part and now he's trying to backpedal hard and is tripping all over himself in doing so -- making it seem like his 'plan' doesn't make sense because his actual plan went to hell quickly

Spiral leads Justin to the library to "catch" F and to get the book to give himself more credibility. He also spies Solfadore.
Solfadore and Justin are near the computer, when Spiral spots the bomb. With the gun that Justin has given him (It's very clear that Spiral has the gun at this point), he shoots the bomb, blowing it up, along with Justin and Solfadore. Clearly the reason why the USB thing was not tampered with.
However, there's a stipulation:
Silver mentioned that if the computer was USED, then the bomb would also blow up. That could explain why the USB is also still there. There's probably also other ways that Silver could have put the USB back into place.

I don't make mistakes like that. Not after allegedly pulling off a perfect, untraceable crime like this would be. I can wait 48 hours to gloat about my victory over town.
Shados, the gun is fake, full of duds. It was said those shots wouldn't hurt a fly, not to mention the clip of bullets was full and it was never fired once according to Haguile.
Of course, spiral, you conveniently forget that Justin would have extra clips on him. It's easy to dispose of a partially used clip and replace it with a brand new one. Reloading isn't rocket science.
