Both streets ahead of everything else in the game, gameplay wise.
The Jecht Spheres were the best part of the story, mostly because they revolved around the best character in the game so it's a shame that they didn't make it further. Top 10 is pretty good though. Plus it's not all bad because the best character LIVES ON THROUGH THIS ARM.

aren't you overpowered to the point of Blitzball being no fun at all by the end? my M.O. by that point is score a quick easy goal or two, get the ball, sit at my goalkeeper while the other team hovers around in circles and then go take a leak or surf the net or something until the half is done. If I played seriously I'd win 14-0 or something.
Yeah I used to hate blitzball, then liked it when I understood and tried for the Celestial weapon, and then got bored and it's in back to good but not great.
Monster arena on the hand saved the game and let you actually do fun things with, you know, the main gameplay.
