I was gonna try to snipe for Joltik earlier, if it came down to it. Damn. I definitely think it was Raikou's time to go, though.

If we're being real, this is probably the most boring, predictable Top 6 imaginable. But honestly? These six Pokemon are so good that I don't really mind. These guys were the obvious favorites for a reason.

Raikou's my favorite electric type, but it's in very close contention with Luxray for that spot. I'm really pleased he did this well, considering I usually don't hear anything about him but hate (maybe not hate necessarily, but it's typically quite negative).

And honestly, I really don't mind this being a predictable top six. For most of the top sixes where things got shaken up, I was rather disappointed with the Pokemon in it because they were niche favorites... and I'm not part of that niche 90% of the time. And just because of how well-liked these guys are, this might objectively be one of the best Top Sixes we've had in a while.

As someone who hasn't actually voted for Raichu at all this contest, I can nevertheless safely say that for fourteen years and counting, it's been Raichu > Pikachu > Pichu for me.
