you can probably stand to dp randomly some more against THawk, his only punish is cr.HK and even that doesn't always connect. sometimes he's just screwed. dive kick games can work well when you've got some bar for ex, but I did learn playing cammy how hard it is for her to build bar from afar. THawk doesn't have much answer to crossup divekick shenanigans aside from mashing dp or 360 and hoping you miss a link or try something with a longer startup after hitting high, you didn't really do much of that aside from when I was in the corner.

A lot of good cammy's I've played stay at the range where if I neutral jump, they can uppercut kick me (what the hell is the name of this I forgot). If I spire they'll do some punch to hit me before I get too close, so they're buffering out that srk motion and hitting punch/kick depending on what I do obviously sometimes.

You need to work on using your normals a bit more to the best of their abilities. There were some matches where I would see you remember how to anti-air with some normals and use them a few times, and lots of times where you would forget again. Your ground footsie game was really mostly about waggling and throwing out an HK or an MK I think, sometimes it helps to throw out a random jab or something to make the other person react, then do those stronger moves as they whiff. Also the crossing up with dive kicks, I almost always got to just block normal to wait them out.

bob you rely way too much on that tick throw game and if could counter that better/was better at countering it, it would get you in trouble. Sometimes you stop what are good combo setups just to go for that throw. I think it's more you just need to get used to the mechanics of SSF4 for everyone and learn something more damaging. Your mixup games are generally pretty good but you add some depth to them with some more time in this.

It's tough to say a ton more because most of my matches against you I played Rose and I was trying to figure out errors in my spacing and timing of stuff, like how awful I was with the fireballs. and yeah, I guess that does remind me that you need to get better at punishing missed stuff when it happens. You do get a little forward jump happy and people with good uppercuts could go to town at times on you.

So I got a new fightgame controller in the mail yesterday. It's a Hitbox, one of those ones where they replace the the stick with 4 more buttons for up/down/left/right, like this:

This is going to take some SERIOUS getting used to but the potential is huge. I was trying it out in UMvC3 training mode and I was doing all these complicated movement techniques, like back wavedashing, wavedashing with Wolverine without accidentally doing the speed boost hyper, and airdashing straight down immediately after a super jump like they were nothing. But basic movement techniques like just jumping after a launcher were challenging. I'm gonna have to relearn a lot of stuff. I guess the more advanced stuff was easier to pick up because it was stuff I couldn't do before, so I didn't have to unlearn the old way of doing it.

Soon I need to try it out on MK9. I feel like the slower pace, tap-tap special commands, and more liberal combo buffering will make it much easier.

on my end I've been spending a lot of 3s time in training mode lately, and it's paying off. can reliably hit confirm Chun's cr mk and Elena's cr mp and jump rh into super. still working on Ken, you only have 13 frames to cancel that which is noticeably shorter.

also can now semi-reliably do Makoto's cr mp hayate SA1, and Ken's mp hp dp dp, both of which eluded me for a while. kind of timing specific.

once I get all that straight away and can do all of them on a hit confirm basis (as well as get everyone else's hit confirms going well) it's time to move on to kara throws which are a big hole in my game at the moment. after that, maybe I can learn Genei Jin and actually use Yun properly.
