Not a great game, riddled with bugs, some funny, some not. Doesn't hold a candle to ME2, and maybe not even 3 in the story telling department. The combat was the best part. All that said, I still enjoyed my time with it.

Half Minute Hero: Super Mega Neo Climax Ultimate Boy (PC)

This was essentially a puzzle game, and it had some neat concepts and fun execution! A few levels were a bit annoying but overall it was a unique experience.

Mega Man Battle Network 2 (GBA)

I remember loving MMBN3 when it came out, but now I'm going back through the series from the beginning and both MMBN and now MMBN2 haven't been great. It's all annoying mazes, cheap enemies, and progression is never, ever clear. 'Lan I need this program, it's somewhere on the net'. Fuck you dad, do you have any idea how big the net is? I frequently used a guide and I still got turned around and lost sometimes. That final boss was also one of the worst I've ever fought with its 2000 HP, limited windows to attack, and a battlefield constantly filled with projectiles

MMBN3 is next and I hope it's the one that finally lives up to my memories but after this I think I'll take a long break from the series.

2 was my all-time favorite. 3 for me was when the series started getting stale, and then 4 and 5 were both experimentally lousy. But the 6th was a big comeback to 2's roots and while a bit on the easy side, won me back and caught me off-guard as the last in the series. It was the first time a megaman game had any distinct end in sight. Zero 4 also did this.

Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse (3DS)

Man this was so much better than the first one, and I already thought the first one was pretty great. Nice new emphasis on story and characters, great mechanic/UI tweaks, and a really satisfying ending that ties together both games (well, the one I chose anyway, though there was one dumb thing about it).

It's been so long, so I don't remember that many details. All I can really say is to spam Ice attacks and use Sukukaja/Sukunda and/or Rakakaja/Tarunda a couple times if you have them. I looked it up and one of its attacks has low accuracy, so if you can exploit that and cause it to miss, that should help a lot. That said, I don't remember if things even have those skills yet. You can do a search in the fusion app to see if it's possible to make anything with those skills. Stat buffs/debuffs are really quite useful in these games. I also see that it doesn't resist charm, so maybe also see if you have any way of inflicting that.

Thank you kindly good sir! I had already beaten Demon's, Dark Souls 2 and 3, and Bloodborne, now the set is complete finally. What a ride, I'm going to miss it so much. Although I still need to beat Dark Souls 2's/3's/BB's DLC, but I did finish Dark Souls 1's.

Oh believe me, when I first played Dark Souls (it was somehow both the first one I played and the last one I finished) I thought: "Nevermind, too hard, will never beat even 2% of this game." But as friends around me started playing this series as well I just had to try again.

It will always remain challenging in the sense that you need to watch out for the high damage output of enemies, but after 5 games it just kind of becomes second nature to play because the controls don't change much fortunately. :) You start noticing tricks and patterns that work on any tough enemy or boss so you can just apply them to new ones you face.

Congrats man, well done! Yeah Dark Souls 2's main game bosses are generally quite easy compared to other games in the series, but I've heard other things of the DLC ones...especially Fume Knight yeah, kind of worried that I'll get my ass kicked.

I think my favorite thing about Dark Souls is the lore. Like you, I was really doubtful I'd be able to finish anything in this game, but what kept me playing was the lore. I love the concept of playing a world that's long dead and you are only scratching the surface of what little distorted history there is. I was amazed when I actually found Artorias' famed sword in DS2 and its description had turned it into something mundane and forgotten.
