It is at this point that I realize that, while I am pretty into eurogames, most of the ones I've played are card-based. Lords of Waterdeep I liked a lot but only played once, and there was some other worker placement game I played once and liked but couldn't remember the name. I would really like to play more games than I do :\ Nope, haven't played Agricola or Ticket to Ride.

Welcome to the Tom 10 project, where I do a top 10, and you vote on your favorite! Ground rules:

I think you make some decisions towards the beginning

I was pretty into it in like middle school which shows you how far I was stretching towards the end <_<

In my teen years I was fairly interested in chess, but ended up not going further with it. For whatever failings it might have as a game, the cultural impact it has can not be overstated. On that front, it blows all other board game competition out of the water, but it admittedly has over a thousand years advantage over most of these here.

It remains a fun game, but I know my limitations with it.

Eddv and I played Dokapon Kingdom in our friend group. On the box it says, "the game that will end your friendships." And I kid you not, we had a friend not talk to us for like a month after a game of Dokapon.
