I'm at 11 hearts. I think I'll go to 13 for REASONS and then revert to maxing out my Stamina. I have my main armor (climber set) upgraded to 3 and feel pretty overpowered now, so I don't see much need in a ton of HP. An extra stamina wheel would be much nicer.

Also, I explore the Death Mountain area and reached Goron City. Got my Flamebreaker armor fully purchased and upgraded to 2 already, and perhaps more importantly, I found the Super Guts Challenge. Now I gotta think about if I want to spend 1-2 hours learning and grinding GMUN's path for max rupees. That would probably make money a non-issue for the rest of the game.

i remember back at the very beginning i was thinking it might be 500 or 999 like older zeldas and being careful around those numbers when i was selling stuff in case i might waste it

I probably won't try to ride/save horses until after getting the Sheikah clothes. Seems like a pain to get good horses otherwise.

I've caught one horse since the game asked you to.

Since then I've done it the old fashion way like my grandpa and walk/run everywhere.

So my wife was doing the awful motion control ball maze and I coyly said "theres a trick to this"

so she was like "oh I get it!" and FLUNG the ball out of the maze directly into the goal. First shot.

I never made any effort to catch any horses after my very first, basic one, but there's a sidequest that tells you exactly where to find a very good one so that was an easy upgrade. I feel like I've been gettting way more use out of my horse on the west side of the map because everything feels a little more open and spread apart than the east side

I didn't know guardians would attack other enemies? I just fought one yesterday that had 2 silver Bokoblins riding around him shooting me and he didn't bother with them :(

Save before you do those puzzles; if you screw up, the fruit takes quite a while to regenerate

Marched into my first battle with a Silver Lynel expecting to get crushed, but I won and it actually wasn't that bad. I think my upgraded Ancient Armor has made me pretty OP.

*edit* also I FINALLY did my first dungeon, Gerudo... and oh god it took me way too long to realize you activate the beast with map controls. I actually streamed the whole thing since my brother wanted to watch so uh yeah that embarrassment is online unlisted whee.

Only 2 armour sets left for me to upgrade now! Soldier and Barbarian... goddamn Lynel parts of course. At least I'm at 3* for each so one more round of upgrading left to do! Still got to finish the jewelry stuff though, psh Star Fragments

Once I got into the camel, everything there was a lot of fun, but I hate hate hate traversing the desert. Plus, having to switch back to Gerudo clothes to get back into the city even when you have IN YOUR POSSESSION their race's treasured heirloom, or at the very least after you've subdued Naboris and saved them from endless sandstorms or possibly an inevitable demise if it decided to come after the village is just ridiculous.

Everything else was at least sorta fun all the way around. The entire Zora questline really shines from start to finish, whereas I couldn't really tell you my favorite part of the Goron questline because it was all very meh.
