Was just rubbing body wash below my collarbone and a felt a little hard lump. Applied more pressure to find it again and the little thing popped. No pain, no sign of anything on the surface of my skin.

Is this common? Will I die?

It sounds like you popped a subcutaneous cyst. Odds are it will get infected which, while painful, is not life threatening. If this happens, you can see a doctor about it or wait it out. I'd recommend a doctor if significant inflammation occurs since that would basically confirm this.

I get these on my solar plexus a lot, but at this point take care of them myself.

I have hard lumps under the skin. Cysts
They never pop though

Yea I have one on my right earlobe. It's been there for years...

I have one on my right earlobe too, but it randomly comes and goes (so maybe not a cyst?). I just checked and it's not there right now, so hooray.
