The issue as Meltzer explained it is that they don't want to have to punish Xavier too, and they'd end up having to explain how Paige gets punished for it but he doesn't. There's also the fact that if they punish Paige for it, that means they can't justify bringing Hogan back too, which they want to do.

Neither is being a celebrity. Just because you're a celebrity doesn't mean you shouldn't be allowed to do what you want with your own body. This is similar to saying "well, she was wearing a short skirt so she was asking to be assaulted." People are blaming the victim, which is just plain wrong.

Wouldn't surprise me at all if there was. I think someone had mentioned that the guy that has all these pictures said he also had Maryse. There could be something similar, but at this point there's no way to know. If there is, it's still between them and WWE, not us.

They weren't even her pictures. She willingly posed for them for somebody else. Maddox is the one that was hacked, and therefore he's the victim in this case.

I really don't think you can say Paige is completely blameless in this situation. Nowadays, you have to understand that the only real way to completely protect yourself from having content like that leaked is to make sure it never exists in the first place.

In an ideal world, hackers just wouldn't invade privacy like this. But we don't live in an ideal world. I have a very limited amount of sympathy for these celebrities when things like this happen because they should be aware of the risk they're taking.

But if you are a celebrity who, in this day and age, knows leaks are possible and that you are highly scrutinized in media for anything you may do, you should be mindful of the things you do and know that people can access them.

So you should take steps to ensure that doesn't happen. So maybe don't have a video of you s***ting out a d**** or pictures of you taking a money shot with company property.

I can see nobody caring about Maddox because as far as I know he's no longer employed, but if Paige should be fired for this, shouldn't Xavier also be fired if he was involved in said money shot video (not sure if he was involved, didn't get a response on that part). Going on and on about how Paige is stupid for this, but not mentioning anybody else involved is a pretty clear double standard.

Out of curiosity, who got fired for similar incidents in the past? The only similar thing I can think of is Orton and that gym bag or whatever, and he certainly wasn't fired. I have a rather large gap where I wasn't following the behind the scenes stuff as regularly as I do now though.

I'm one of Paige's bigger fans in the topic but I would fire her for doing that to the NXT Title. Everything else don't care but can't allow that kinda stuff to be done to the brand.

Well, no, actually I'd do what WWE is likely going to do-- make her women wrestling's answer to JTG because it's not easy to say "well it's because she helped some dude shoot a load on the NXT Title" in a press release and if you don't elaborate it's easy for casual onlookers to say it was about the sex tapes in general and question why Woods wasn't released.

There's also the fact that she's not even happy on the show either so in some ways this is a better punishment.

Now... granted, WWE does more damage to the prestige of their own titles through poor booking than any amount of bodily fluids could do, so in that sense maybe it's not a big deal. I'm just talking in an ideal world where the titles are actually presented in a way where they mean something (which honestly applies to the NXT Women's title more than most titles in the company really)

So maybe like, let Paige get away with that if it's the Universal Title but not so much the WWE Title.

I've openly stated in these topics before that I'm a huge fan of Paige's, which is part of my rationale behind this. The other part is that my worldview changed when I became a parent. I have a 3 year old daughter, and another daughter due in July. There will be a time when they're at the same age and will likely be doing stupid stuff like this. I know my sister in law has done similar things, it happens. I don't think it's fair to just say "well it's your fault for taking the pictures, you should have known better" because in my eyes, you're blaming the victims. The real person that people should be upset with is the hacker that got a hold of the pictures, and released them to the public, but I digress. None of us are going to change anybody else's mind on this issue. It's like debating/arguing politics.

I'm going to point out a POSSIBILITY that is a bit. Of a leap

Paige may not have known the threesome video existed. It's being filmed by a stationary camera set off to the side somewhere. Maddox is taking still photos in such a way that Paige would have to have agreed to, but those are being taken with an actual camera, not a phone.

I present the possibility that this was because she agreed to let him take NON-DIGITAL photos for his private collection, but didn't consent for it to be digitally dicumented and thus leakable.

This is a stretch, and obviously she consented for everything else to be digitally filmed. Just a thought that occurred to me when I noticed Brad using an old-school camera and then wondered why.
