Okay, I didn't have a problem with J.T. in Tocantins. He was a generic dude, but he seemed like a nice guy. Yes I wanted Stephen to win Tocantins, but whatever. Ever since then though, it really feels like J.T. won Survivor, but he didn't get the amount of praise he thought he deserved.

This is me playing armchair psychologist, but J.T., in HvV came across as a guy who wasn't happy JUST being a winner. He desperately wanted to prove he was a good player and could dominate even without Stephen around. So he made a point of making alliances with everyone and flipping back and forth between alliances, fracturing the Heroes from within. He was the Heroes' power player, and the Heroes got wrecked by the Villains.

He did the same thing here too. Granted, he was thrown into a bad position by the swap...but he still tried WAY too damn hard to be a power player. He got Malcolm voted out while trying to be slick and take out Sandra, and then he got himself voted out by not even bothering to bring his idol to tribal council.

I just don't like the J.T. we've gotten since he won. It's like, "Dude, you're a millionaire...enjoy it." Instead it's just constantly fucking people over (or trying to fuck people over) that are more interesting personalities, just to make "BIG MOVEZ".

I don't fault JT for playing hard. It's makes things more interesting.

This bootlist has basically been the worst possible scenario for ratings though I imagine. Even Caleb probably brought in some casual fans who usually only watch Big Brother. Lots of big name players going down while the Sierras and Halis of the world stick around.

We lost 4 real fan favorites in 5 episodes. That's not great.

I'm on the Culpepper bandwagon because Aubry is screwed. My winner pick, Andrea, is purple. And I've lost my three favorite players in the season. AND this version of Sandra is insufferable. Like she and Michaela seemed so trashy during that episode.

It won't be. CBS has pretty much completely separated themselves from the Hantzes since the events of 2012/2013. Russell not being on this season is pretty telling. My guess is Rupert.

yeah I agree completely. I'm not sad Tony went over Sandra and he completely did it to himself, but I was really pumped when they aligned and I had hoped they would both go far.

that twist was nuts and I enjoyed that tc and the results were fine by me, though I feel bad for Malcolm as upset as he was afterward... but yeah, let's not do that twist again.

It's Big Brother Canada. 95% of the twists we wind up getting for our version are somehow even WORSE than the shit that goes down on US Big Brother. And that's saying something.

If you liked BB18 enough you may as well. Sometimes BB can be really good, though not as often as Survivor.

BB tends to be decent at the start of every season though. I liked the start of Canada 3 & 4, but they slowly devolved. 3 really devolved at one point for me. Unlike Survivor, BB tends to be strongest when there's more players. Part of why I don't care to jump into BB early on - it's usually not an indication of how good the season will be.

I'd say wait to see how they influence the middle of the season. BBCAN likes to go haywire there.

I'm at the F4 of Genius 3 and this season is really good. Every season is good, but they're bringing the champs from 1 & 2 back as guests next episode. Hypeee.

Other than him I was excited to watch Sandra again. I like JT, Aubry, Varner, Zeke. Tai isn't a favorite but he's intriguing television. I was excited to see some "legends" like Ozzy, Cirie, and Malcolm play for the first time. I did see Cirie in HvV but don't remember her doing much.
