What is Game of the Month Club?
Game of the Month is a community project open to all B8ers where users share, discover, play and/or discuss a select few games every month. The games featured each month are chosen by YOU the users (and Lady Luck)

The Basics
- Each month will feature three games that were chosen via a random drawing from a pool of games that users nominated
- For each game you beat, you get a cool point on our just-for-fun standings as well as a nomination for next month's randomized drawing
- In order to receive the point and nomination, you must beat said game within the calendar month
- If you beat one of the current month's games in the previous month, you can apply for a "recently beaten waiver," but you will only receive a point and no nomination should you do so
- Drawing for next month's games is usually around a week before the end of the month
- If you periodically keep us posted on your progress and/or talk about different aspects of the games, then everyone will think you are super awesome!

Nomination Rules
- You get one nomination automatically each month
- You can receive up to three more nominations in a month for each chosen game that you beat
- Each game you nominate has to be different from both your and other users' noms and cannot include a game that has already been selected for GotM
- Each game must be a standalone game that can be acquired and played on its own (aka cannot be DLC/expansion that requires the base game)
- Nominations only carry over if you beat a chosen game after the drawing for next month's games but before the end of the month

I forget the name of the place where I saved and quit, but the file says that I am 21% done with Tomb Raider.

I have decided not to go for 100% because I am playing offline and unsure if progress for anything (such as comparison stats and achievements) are saved and synced when I go back online.

I just escaped from the Solarii Fortress. I think my completion percentage is in the 40s.

Reached the research base and have a completion percentage of 69%. I feel like I only have 2-3 hours to go, so it's possible that I wrap this up tomorrow.

I don't own any of these games, but I may try to find EVO. I am at least am tagging this topic to nom a bit later, if nothing else.

KCF has beaten Tomb Raider

I ended up with 79%, but I went back in to redeem a point I earned at the end plus some salvage, so I am now at 80%. If everything syncs up when I connect my XB1 back online, then I will aim for 100% before the end of the month.

I'm glad that I revisited this game. I'm not sure if there were any upgrades aside from visuals (mainly looking at mechanical tweaks), but it reinforced my belief that it is slightly better than Rise of a Tomb Raider.

I finally started EVO! It's a lot clunkier than I remembered but it's still a unique concept and I'm having fun with it. I had a hell of a time beating the Queen Bee but now I'm partway through the dinosaur age

I'm still playing Tomb Raider. I'm 55℅ done with it, according to the game, but I should be able to finish it before the month is up.

My first nomination will go to Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones.

Beat E.V.O.

... it's clunky and has a bad soundtrack (as a whole, though tracks that don't repeat after <20 seconds aren't that bad) and bosses who can stunlock you to death (Cro-Maine/Yetis). That said, it still has some good points, and the difficulty is pretty easy otherwise if you stay a mammal (200 pts to extend/shorten neck which mostly just refills your HP)

I would be nominating the Talos Principle here like I was going to last month, but I beat it a day or two ago so not going to nominate it after all. <_<

We can probably blame Lolo for doing the same thing the previous month with Breath of the Wild and having it selected. RNG gods probably didn't want to have the same thing happen in consecutive months.
