I was at the Ghost in the Shell yesterday, and about 5 minutes into the movie I decided I needed to take a really big dump. But I didn't want to skip out so early into the movie.

So I wait another five minutes. Thinking that if I hold it in, it'll just get tucked away til later (as it usually does in such situations)

My gut starts bubbling. I bite my lip to try to hold it in.

Eventually I get up, inconvenience my wife and friends by sidling in front of them, then break down the aisle like a madman.

I make my way to the bathroom, but one toilet was dirty. Since no one else was around I used the handicapped one.

Right as my rear came into contact with the seat, I expelled what felt like gallons with such force that some flew out of the toilet, collided with my arm, while some more rained down on the floor in front of the toilet with a distinct *splat*

I felt about 10 pounds lighter afterwards.

I wiped up the spot on the floor, cleaned my hands and the spot on my arm, then returned to the theater.

Movie was alright. 7/10. Really couldn't compare to the dump tbh

This exact thing happened to me when I went to see The Martian, but mine happened during the climax of the movie and I missed what my girlfriend told me were the best scenes of the movie.

I still have to rewatch it.
