Donald's talked about knowing money, yet he's spending a lot of unnecessary money just from vacation-time he often railed against and his family's daily Secret Service treatment in NYC which costs us all tax-payer money. I also don't know how much people really trust his judgment in military actions, so in that way there's a heightened gambling spin here. I don't think Democrats leveled this complaint against Obama, which is fair. Trump campaigned on cutting government spending. He's slashing millions from programs that have proven their value. I disagree with that, but ok.
Then he turns around and spends millions on personal vacations and to keep his family not in the WH - and the government spending there is going back into his own personal pockets. And then he bombs another country for no military gain - he straight up admitted that it was a warning and didn't actually accomplish anything. But there are now PACs trying to use the strike for fundraising. It's becoming obvious that he's trying to use the strike to say "see guys, i TOTALLY don't have any connections to Russia!!1!" He's a good con man, he's trying to bait and switch his way out of a 55% disapproval rating. --- ~Peaf~ ... Copied to Clipboard!

I think that the warning was bullshit because Assad isn't stopping, and Trump doesn't have the diplomatic tact to actually do anything. I think that if our Congress had tried to work with Obama on Syria instead of being a constant thorn in his side, we'd be in a better place.
I also strongly believe that regardless of military action, if he were truly sO cOnCeRnEd about the BABIES then he'd fucking let the refugees into the country. They've been vetted for two years and are more worthy of being here than he is. History has shown that military actions alone aren't going to do much in the ME. And if you dehumanize the people who are trying to keep their family safe, then they'll turn to other ways that keep their family safe in the short term. --- ~Peaf~ ... Copied to Clipboard!

So Trump thinks Assad bombing civilian areas, that's fine, just don't you dare use chemicals? That is apparently what he has said. It seemed very clear. Did he bomb them because they bombed a city? No. Because they used chemical weapons. You can argue drastically what is normal in a war scenario to retake your land from rebels. Some may even go as far as saying total annihilation is acceptable. However, most would not. While you may argue that bombing areas of rebels which can result in civilian casualties is expected or a sad truth of war. It is exceedingly farther to say that literally gassing neighborhoods is par for the course. Personally, I want nothing to do with Syria. It is a cesspool of terrorists. The rebels likely are as bad or worse than Assad himself anyways. If you think the rebels do not personally use human shields to try and protect their outfit, you are pretty silly. However, a nation using chemical weapons should be given a stern warning that it is not acceptable. Especially after an agreement to remove all chemical weapons prior, which was apparently violated. I agree with the bombing. I agree with more airstrikes if the government continues such behavior (but they will not now). I do not support helping the rebels directly not for boots on the ground or such. --- LoL ID = imajericho XBL GT = Corrik ... Copied to Clipboard!

The point of the warning was not to cripple them or what not. I mean, we obviously even gave them a beforehand warning of the attack. The point was to make a symbolic point that if it happens again, there will be appropriate consequences. It was a measured warning. And, maybe Syria does do it again.
