Only if I wanted to perpetually drive a brand new luxury car for 1-2 years before getting a new one. Otherwise, it's a scam.

Yeah even trying to look at both sides of this argument it just seems like there's no great reason for it. It would be one thing if you're a big company and need to lease it out for employees but as an individual I'm not sure what the upside is besides driving a nice car you can't really afford.

I leased a car from 2011 to 2014. Then I was moving and didn't need a car anymore, so my parents traded it in to another place for a different car, for my mom.
That's their usual pattern. Lease car for 2-3 years, trade it in to a different dealer for a new lease at the end. --- sig poll: buzz cola or duff beer 0 - 1 thus far (after like 2 years) ... Copied to Clipboard!
