There is a warehouse hiring in my area, if you get hired, you are required to work 7 days a week, 11 hours a day permanently

I think that does in fact violate labor laws.

As far as I know, only a few states have laws that require one day off per work week. In most, you're pretty much your employer's bitch.

Fuck that.

Would sooner throw myself off a bridge than work 77 hours a week no days off especially in anything involving heavy physical labor(or customer service)

I like my job. We work 7 days a week 12 hours a week for 2-3 months then you get laid off. If you're greedy you can go work somewhere else, or you can kick back and collect unemployment for 2 or 3 months. You can easily make 6 figures working 8-9 months a year just working 6 10's. In the first couple years after my kid was born I only worked 4-6 months out of the year. Plenty enough to pay my bills and save money but I got to spend a lot of time with my child as well.

7 days straight every so often isn't bad, but for the rest of time seems like a bit much

with that being said 77 hours a week would result in a fat paycheck - that you would never get to enjoy

Meh, when I was on the road, I worked multiple weeks straight. I did a stretch from December 26th to March 2nd without break a couple years ago, with my shortest workweek being a little over 80 hours.

Made some decent bank then. Don't regret it.
