How are the MVP votes done in the NBA? Is it by number of first place votes, or a weighted top-5 system? I feel like if it's the latter, Westbrook has no chance, but if it's the first... he has it in the bag. This is based on nothing, but I feel like the some people who think the triple-double is an arbitrary stat could let Westbrook drop to 3rd in their ballots behind both Harden and Kawhi, but they're not going to be as numerous as the people who think Westbrook was both the best and most exciting player to watch this season. But on the other side, no Westbrook voter is going to let Harden slip anywhere below number 2.

I feel terrible that the Heat didn't make the playoff after their insane turnaround. 11-30 in the first half of the season, 30-11 in the second half.

Warriors will get lazy in a game at Portland and Lillard will go off for 50+ to steal it. Jazz/Clippers is gonna be the most exciting series of the first round. I think the Cavs will continue to look shaky. I think the Grizzlies are wasting a playoff spot and are basically gonna be a rest for Pop and the Spurs.

Oh and the Rockets probably beat the Thunder in 5, as sad as that is for me to say. :(

Based on pure talent, the Raptors have the best chance. They seize up in the playoffs something fierce every year though. That talent was enough to get them to the conference finals last year because of how bad the East was, but they might not be so lucky this year.
