What the hell is your problem the first two games are completely different the third and fourth are connected and depending on which version of three you play the game basically becomes a visual novel

there is something like tarturus but its mostly for side missions and stuff, the majority of the game takes place in bona fide dungeons, nothing groundbreaking but its such a big improvement

So far its pretty good. But the music is underwhelming in the 16 hours I've played.

it has hilariously bad translations at times, but if you don't give a shit about doujin ps2 game tier translations, it seems there's nothing but glowing praise for the game

no it's really great series. the voice acting is very animeish which can take people out. but it's a more mature pokemon. i remember fighting a naked pregant demon that was giving birth to other demons in part 3. and i didn't even realized what the heck i was fighting until after the fight. i didn't even notice she was topless until after the fight.

where's this coming from? P3P was awesome, it was just like PS2 version except with a second playable character and less dumb walking and it was on a more appropriate platform for the game.

Yes. 7 hours in and things are starting to pick up. I've no idea if it's better than the other games in the series though as this is my first game in the series.
