Well Vietnam was a communism country in the 70s and escaping there was literally life and death so I'd say him leaving Vietnam was worst but he does look totally disoriented in the airplane videos.

He did something wrong almost 15 years ago. The board decided to give him his medical license back in 2015 and he did everything the courts asked. Typical media spinning shit in a misleading manner with total disregard of the victim. Let me also add he never would have felt profiled if United didn't let people get on then embarrassingly pluck them off IN FRONT OF EVERYONE!

United didn't bloody the man, airport security did. United didn't drag the man off the plane, airport security did.
United asked him to leave and then call the cops essentially. Sorry but no matter how much you hate them or dislike that they can tell you to get off the plane, this is not something you can sue and win in court over.

I am not defending them, I am explaining the facts of who was responsible for making the man bloody and who dragged him away. United did wrong by trying to get their crew on the plane BUT legally they did nothing wrong. You can't sue them for that and win.

So what is he gonna sue them for? For making him bloody? oh wait, they didn't the airport "cops" did who don't work for United

Good idea considering they don't have any oversight over the police but still hold liability if they do something wrong.

the only case that can be won here is these lawyers prove overbooking or asking customer to give up seat is illegal or bad policy...
which would effect all the airlines not united

which would then make it extremely hard case to prove when FAA (the government) approves and allows it and delta, american blah blah all do the same thing

cause you know...the other part they suing for was done by airport security not United employees

btw a lawyer took the case so it must be winnable is not a good argument
they are no doubt hoping United will settle

incorrect, Microsoft wouldn't be liable for what the police do

you are confusing if they store was paying salary for a police or security guard to watch it

but I am talking city policy, no affiliation to the store
because united doesn't pay airport security, the airport does, and the city owns the airport

if you gf was in your car and you ask her to get out
you call cops saying she is in your car and won't leave
they come and beat her up
then no, you are not liable for them beating her up
