Both older, evergreen titles that could probably run on Switch and sell well on the system. I think Nintendo and Rockstar might have had a bad relationship in the past. I don't know if that's still the case, but Nintendo should totally do all they can to try to get these games.

wouldn't GTA V eat all the available storage memory?

I don't see why it's so impossible. They're going to get Skyrim eventually.

GTA V and GTA Online are on their last legs at this point.

I mean, it's just not going to sell well, and then Rockstar is going to go back to their policy of Nintendo being bad business if they go through with it.

Like it wouldn't even work well as a portable game, but I guess that selling point could still sell copies.

Anyone going digital on the system is going to have to upgrade their storage eventually, so this seems like a non-issue.

It certainly didn't help that most of those multiplats were gimped in some way.

Wouldn't work well as a portable game? How? GTA V is extremely pick up and play friendly.

Even if you went physical I'm pretty sure GTA V is larger than the maximum storage of a switch cartridge so the game would have to be partially if not entirely installed to the system regardless of if you had it physically. And that's assuming they shipped multiple cartridges for it.

I read something about Blizzard not wanting to bother with Overwatch on the switch at this point in time as they can barely keep up maintaining three platforms, and don't want to add more to the mix lest the other versions of the game suffer for it. Plus Nintendo is strict as f--- and they can't be bothered with them.

32 GB cartridges are certainly a possibility considering Skyrim Remastered is a thing. GTA V can work with some tinkering and downgrading.

The Switch version of Skyrim might be based on the PS3/360 version instead of the PS4/Xbone version. Just sayin'. It's Bethesda we're talking about here.

You can tell by the foliage and stuff that they're probably using SE as the base. But you're right, it would really easy to get Skyrim working on a 16GB cartridge.

Way I read it was that Blizzard was interested in the idea of Overwatch on Switch, but they thought it'd be too much work to try and port it over since (as you said) they're busy supporting it on 3 platforms already.

I know Switch isn't the strongest console out there, but Overwatch doesn't seem particularly demanding of a game, and most devs have said Switch is incredibly easy to port to... So I dunno.
