While the majority of polls, professors and media outlets were wrong in the 2016 election, one of the few American University History Professors, Allan Lichtman stood out as he predicted Trump WOULD WIN..and now he's says Trump is headed toward IMPEACHMENT!!

He made the shocking prediction after he made an assessment and said "I believe he is more vulnerable than any other president in the history of the nation"

He laid it out in his new book titled "The Case For Impeachment". His theory isn't based on any formal methodology because only 2 presidents were impeached, Richard Nixon resigned before the HOP could do it.

Allan did a "deep study of history" and looked at the parallels to past presidents who were impeached. He looked Trump's early business career and looked at the early weeks of his tenure in the White House.

He said looking at Nixon and the parallels between him and Trump are "quite chilling". He says "Trump is very thin-skinned and considers the media to be his enemy. He believes in being on the attack at all times, and in the important of getting even with people. He has a penchant for lying and for deflecting controversy instead of meeting it head on. Finally, like Nixon, Trump seems bereft of any guiding principles, other than doing what is best for himself. This lack of guiding principals for a president is very dangerous"

He could get nailed on a variety of things, including the Russian election controversy because of Carter Page, Paul Manafort, Roger Stone, Jeff Sessions and General Flynn among others.

The business conflicts is also another impeachment order because of the Emoluments Clause

Allan believes the impeachment could be beneficial for Congressional Republicans and said "They would love to have Mike Pence in the White House" as Pence could pick his own VP, including Speaker Paul Ryan which is the ultimate dream team for Republicans.

Allan says Trump is no longer a firebrand for Republicans and if a shock victory for Jon Ossoff pays off in Georgia, that may be the tipping point for Republicans to easily impeach him with Democrats on board

Allan has ALWAYS predicted the correct Presidential Winner in the last 30 years as he's seen as someone to look to nowadays...

Pretty much anybody with any sense saw that it was possible that Trump could win, given that Hillary wasn't leading by anywhere close to the margins that people expected. As for impeachment, good luck trying that with the Republicans controlling just about everything right now.
