Can someone translate?

"To defeat Trump, [Americans] should have supported Sanders. We are not going to make the same mistake."

It's drawing a comparison between Clinton and the embattled French candidate Emmanuel Macron, between Trump and Marine Le Pen, and between Sanders and Jean-Luc Mélenchon.

Well, those aren't bad comparisons. They probably don't want a meme president like we have. I already see pictures of wigs on that stupid frog with a "Madame President" caption

I dunno how anyone can refute the opening post.

Trump is probably the least qualified presidential candidate in us history. The fact that ANYONE could lose to him is astounding, and it can only be due to extreme incompetence on the part of the opponent.

Clinton goofed so freaking badly, she should have won in a landslide

OK, so if such a horrendously shitty candidate with a horribly run campaign still gets popular vote, that says a lot about her opponent. Don't get me wrong, I strongly disliked Hillary and voted third party (in a completely blue state) but I would have rather had her than the current mess in office.

Trump is trash, yes, but it is worth noting that Hillary's campaign strategy prioritized the popular vote over the electoral vote. They made a point of spending in LA and Chicago and New Orleans because they feared losing the popular vote for...reasons.

So it's a little disingenuous to point to her popular vote total without acknowledging the reasons why that total is shifted so heavily in her favor.

The bigger issue to me is that she spent more time and money in places like Arizona, Texas, and Georgia under the assumption that it would be a close enough to put those into play
