Taunt is a shit mechanic that ruined yet another arena run for me but my prize pack was worth 525 dust. More if I dust the gold rare.

Think I may just settle for rank 8 and call it a month. TBH, the way the month started, I'm surprised I even got to 15.

Yeah came within 1 game of rank 3 and I might have made a serious last day push, but then backslid so i just chilled out today instead of stressing the HS ranks.

Rank 4 rewards are still nice :D

Oh shit, I got a Golden Cabal Shadow Priest, nice! This card looks great Golden; I'm pretty pumped.

I'm still in "dust every golden card" mode. I prefer to have the dust to craft the decks I want, rather than the flashy gold copies. If I would stop taking extended breaks from HS then I'd be much more flush with gold and dust than I wind up being :/

I just had an 0-2 arena match against a mage who had TWO METEORS, FLAME STRIKE, FIRELANDS PORTAL. THIS GUY WAS 0-2.

Now im facing a fucking rogue who hallucinationed into glimmerroot... which got him a lyra.

I got to Rank 5 last month with Purify Priest, so my first thought right now is "what awful card do I have that I can build a deck around this month that no one has yet?"

Season changed. 0-4, all four games against hunter, all 4 went first and basically cast Demonic Tutor every turn. I would kill for the draw luck of these no-talent idiots with their charity wins.

Looked at a wild tier list for the first time, was initially surprised at Boom being obsolete but with everything being heavy control or super fast aggro it doesn't really have a place.

Not surprised that Pirate Warrior is the best deck there though

My friend played Secret Paladin over the weekend from like 15 to 6 before burning out. I assume that deck is at least still decent, and he was playing Boom. If there were more midrange decks or if control didn't play N'zoth, he'd probably be around more.

I think I'm going to give Wild a shot this month. Standard is still a little weird and I can continue to be greedy and hoard my dust this way. Plus maybe Warlock isn't trash and I can work on the 80 or so wins I need for gold hero.

I tried a little bit of Miracle Rogue and Jade Druid cause I kept struggling against both Priest and Mage. Both still seem incredibly strong. I actually fought a bunch of Pirate Warriors and Hunters instead and still came out on top almost each time. I think I was 4-0 with Jade Druid and it was like Hunter, Hunter, Pirate Warrior, and Hunter again. Probably its worst matchups yet I didn't even feel threatened at all. Quest Rogue is probably nigh unwinnable for Druid but eh can't win em all

Ulti you should also be keeping War Axe as Pirate Warrior. Even if you don't have First Mate or Haha.

If I have First Mate I can be a bit greedy with some other keeps, like maybe keep Frothing if against Control. Raider and War Axe is definitely ok on the coin.

If you are facing a bunch of taunts, teching in a card like Spellbreaker is definitely fine

You know what, I am tempted to swap out my Knife Juggler for Eater of Secrets. I'm sure it's a net loss for the deck overall but seriously fuck freeze mage

Tech in an Ooze over a Tar Creeper if you are facing weapon classes (I like the 3 mana epic but yeah)

So many tech cards running around that playing something like this feels pretty good. Should beat Mage and Priest.

Shaman is dope against Priest too. Hex just wrecks a lot of cards and there's still experimentation done on it. Priest is a natural counter to Mage. I think some Paladin build should do wonders against them as well.

I think I can make that for no dust. Or very minimal dust.

Drake is an epic but is so ridiculously good that it's worth it. Especially in Druid cause

1) Ramp lets you get it pretty fast.

2) It also is a board clear, which is something Druid severely lacks outside of Swipe.

3) 4 Attack dragon, Priest's worth nightmare

Got a second Explore Un'Goro card from my three packs. Looks like I'm going warrior this expansion. Also got the Warlock quest, which I might look at later. Though it looks really bad.

Overall, JD was performing pretty well at the tournament. The biggest star appeared to be some variation of the Burn Mage that has been going around. I might have to finally craft myself an Alex to try it out.

Burn Mage is excellent, was singing its praises earlier. Can play aggro or control depending on the matchup and your mulligan.

Man tonight has been miserable for me. Overall losing record and cannot string together 3 wins for the bonus stars. Always 1 or 2. I'm 4 stars down for the night

Worse still, even running into bad manners. Usually I let opponents finish instead of conceding in case they have some sort of quest but fuck that after what some of them have done tonight

Unless I'm 100% sure my opponent is playing for a quest, my rule is concede on my turn when I'm dead to board.
