Like, is the site mostly known for its faqs or boards? And with places like Youtube, I can't imagine people reading boring text files...

I read the text files all the time.

I don't like using multiple devices to walkthrough my games.

Pausing and picking up some paper is much easier than pausing and switching to the browser or another device. Plus you get to make notes on the paper.

When I need them. My reading is probably faster watching a video.

Read one for a temple on breath of the wild. Couldn't fucking figure it out.

But before that it had been years. Used to use them all the time when I was younger.

When it comes to online strategy guides, there's never been a better website than GameFAQs. I still prefer an old-school print strategy guide sometimes, though.

I don't really use them anymore. Think the last time I heavily used one, was when I 100%ed The Last Remnant on 360. If I need help these days, I search the boards, or if something would be better visually represented, check youtube.

i used to. as games have gone thru the ages there's less of a need for them but there are still some things that i'll look up.

i've never used a walkthrough tho.

I use them for RPG games all the time
I practically lived on 3DS games' boards when I first came here :P

The last faq I read here was for 'Divinity: Original sin'.

Okay game, but locking crafting recipes behind a character's level is somewhat broken (in my opinion).
