Back in highschool like 9 years ago i would be using an Xbox 360 mic thats plugged into the controller which is plugged into the laptop to lay down vocals over pirated beats using audacity. Sounded like ass. Oh man, I thought I went in over the A milli beat like I was hard. I still keep a copy of the attempt my friend and I did over the binary star - reality check. Just something funny to look back and at and reminisce. There was a guy who got drunk and kept spouting Shakespeare's crappy poetry, but he kept doing it for so long that after party I started to write poetry, but more modern stuff. I continued through my junior year in high school writing and writing. Now my poetry stretched into short stories, but one day when I invited my friends over to my house a buddy of mine found my book that had a lot of my poems then he said, "Mike, you should be a rapper these look like lyrics and sounds like them." So I started doing simple flows and writing lyrics or at least trying while my friend tapped on his notebook to provide a beat, but nothing ever came from it and ended up dropping lyrics to write novels. To this day, I still dabble in lyrics but not that much. --- "There is wife assisted suicide. I guess it's true when they say you're your worst critic. It's from a rap duo named binary star. Track is called reality check on Masters of the universe album. Rapping is fun though. I kinda feel inspired to try again and improve on that. I think now that I'm older, I'd know what to look for to better the skill set. I've heard you rap before and you're solid too.
