I've heard it has a lot of gathering, and I'm the type that could easily add 10 hours of game play gathering shit, but not cause I want to, I feel like I'll miss out on something.

This is one of my complaints. Your inventory for resources feels restrinctive, even maxed out you can only carry 100 things and there's no real reason for it.

On top of that, the majority of the things you are carrying turn out to be worthless and you may as well just sell them, but you don't know that until after the fact.

By the time I got to the end I disovered nearly everything I was holding on to was useless and I had lugged it around "Because I might need it later" for no reason

It some really clunky and inelegant design.

Don't worry though, you won't miss or lose anything by not gathering. Just pick up pretty much everything you happen to walk past and you will be more than loaded. It's not a hard game

If you haven't played KH yet go for it. Otherwise go for Horizon. While I personally love the Yakuza series, I can see it not being for everybody.

I'd say so but then again if you've played a lot of sandbox games like Assassin's Creed and the like you're probably used to a lot of it's shit by now.

I think it's harder if you're new to the genre. There's a lot of "Aim at the weakpoint and use specific thing against it's weakness."

I imagine if you're bad at aiming and bad/lazy at switching weapons, you'll struggle a lot more.
