i don't see what's wrong with this? if a newspaper has a columnist employed whose colums you don't enjoy reading, i don't see why you should be obligated to subscribe to it. it's probably better to subscribe to a newspaper with a columnist whose columns you do enjoy reading. (spoilers: just because this guy won a "fucking pulitzer" doesn't mean his columns are "objectively good" or whatever. it's like how i'm allowed to loathe sin city [the movie], even though it's super critically acclaimed.)
