Tossing it out there since basically everyone knows I've been trying to shift him.

CB Ricky Manning (81 OVR, 31yo) is available for a 3rd rounder. He'd be a CB2/3 for a lot of teams.

His contract this year is shit but if renewed next year you'd likely be paying ~2.5-3m a year (basing off my other CBs). As far as I am aware, CB's generally play until 34 -36 (per KCF's document) so you should still get 3 years out of him if renewed.

EDIT: Additionally HB Courtney Lewis (87 OVR), DE Ryan Nece (85 OVR), DE David Mcmillan (85 OVR) may be available depending on the offer.

At a glance I think the Titans are getting the short end of the stick with that one. Taking a heavy hit at DT to get virtually no improvement at OT to move up 1 round in the middle of the draft? And it's not gonna be a full round, more like half a round off current records. Unless there's position swaps or a trade elsewhere involved for one of their existing OT's I'm not seeing how that benefits the Titans.

That being said, I'm not one to veto and I'm sure Stan has reasons. Like buying years or having deals lined up elsewhere or something?

EDIT: Fairer trade would have been Falcon 2nd or at the very least the 3rd should be straight up (i.e. no 4th going back). I'm basing this off rebuttals I've had for players when trying to upgrade 2-3 points at a position and being told no (granted some for contract reasons)

I definitely don't get it from Titans' perspective for the reasons Shattered mentioned. Titans already have a good Oline and have been one of the worst defensive teams in the league for years. The only thing I will say is that Justice is only 28 and one of Stan's tackles is 36, but still, I think a third of a round trade up is way too little to ask when taking into account the Titans' roster.

Eh. I figured that including a pick myself that would help offset the fact that Peko was a better prospect in the last draft than Merriman. McKinnie is also getting injured a lot, so it'd be nice to have a reliable backup option once Jansen retires. O-Line and D-Line have pretty much always been mediocre according to KFC so figured I might as well shake it up a bit with some new blood. But if you guys think I'm giving up too much...what do you think, Maniac?

As I told Stan, I have no idea the trade value of picks so that can certainly be adjusted as needed. I'll wait to see if there is more of a consensus on what it would need to be before we adjust anything for sure. I am fine with either of the things discussed though.

I'd say see what KCF suggests. I know he's said in the past we overvalue draft picks. But I think what I suggested sounds fair-ish

Ultimately, I am fine with the parameters of the Titans/Falcons trade. I don't expect trades to be truly even or anything, so while I believe the Falcons are probably getting the better end, it's close enough.

What people may not realize is that Peko was just selected in the first round, so even though his value does plummet as the draft pick has turned into a player, I don't think that it's fair to solely look at the overall rating in his case. That being said, Babineaux is an established player with a high rating, so it would probably make more sense if Stan did not give up his 4th rounder.

My Guards and Centers are currently 36/36/35. How much says they screw me by none of them retiring in the summer now I've grabbed a replacement? And their contracts basically make them untouchable with cuts/trades.

I probably need to move back up in the draft at some point to snag a WR if Chris Chambers retires.

Stuff for Week 9 is locked in. I believe that two users have holes at the same position, but one was caused by Week 8 injuries while the other was via trade. Priority when I choose who to sign goes to the earlier occurrence.

Okay, so I have some bad news. While typing up game summaries, my laptop was nearly out of power. I couldn't find my charger, leaving me to believe it is at my parents' house an hour away. This is what I plan to do

1. Mention user signings
2. Send out injury PMs using my phone
3. Come up with new poll and make new topic on tablet
4. Rush to post as many game summaries as my laptop will allow
5. Tomorrow, I will post remaining game summaries on tablet
6. Wednesday will still have games simmed but just scores with injury PMs
7. My mom's birthday and Father's Day is this weekend, so I will head down Friday or Saturday, get laptop charged, post game summaries, and update spreadsheet so people have time for Week 11 adjustments.

I am basically being punished for my blunder and everyone gets delayed info. Sorry for the inconvenience.
