FrankIin 05/02/17 2:56:00 PM #1:	Hello! I've decided to start giving dating advice on CE. So my first subject is... Why do nerds go to bars? The long story short is, when you're trying to pick up a woman, you need to be comfortable in the environment you're in. So why would a nerd go to a bar, where they either don't know the social mechanics of them, or aren't able to smoothly go through them? Or why would someone who frequents bars go to a book store just to talk to women about how much they drank the night before? Find somewhere in the real world that you can relax and be comfortable at. It's easier to be at the top of you're game when you're not in an area that's intimidating to you or something. REAL LIFE EXAMPLE: I went to a Bernie Sanders campaign when I was bored and figured I'd try to pick up women while I was there. Not only was I uncomfortable in such a liberal environment, but I only got 2 numbers. Bars are one of the few places people attend with the mindset of being social, making anyone you strike up a conversation with significantly more likely to be receptive. Bars are better than clubs for nerds; bars tend to be quieter which means conversation is likely to occur which plays to a nerds' strongpoints better than relying only on looks and dance ability. They think they can simply walk into a club and pick up women who are way out of their league. They need to start with the basics and learn how to approach women. As long as you look good and have confidence you can pick up women anywhere, but women at clubs and bars are there for a reason and have many guys trying to get with them at once, so you need that certain charm that only comes from not being a turbo virgin loser.
