Does it matter? If you're in a serious relationship, you probably have an idea on how often you and your partner would like to do it. I know some couples that rarely ever have sex, and others that do it almost daily it seems like.

It just depends on schedule, how important sex is in the relationship, all of that.

The first year should be at least once a day if you see each other regularly, after that it kinda drops to like 3-5 times a week. Once the initial attraction fades I find that life just gets in the way and you need to make time for it.

When I lived with my parents my girlfriend and I would just hang out in my room; I'd play games and she'd read/play games with me on her laptop when we weren't actively spending the time together, but after that I'd have to go to bed for work. My problem was that I'd do these things all the way until bedtime and then not appreciate the sex as much because I knew it was cutting into my sleep.
