I broke off a relationship with a nice girl I met online because she was overweight and had messed up teeth.

I didn't let it drag out though. We met after talking for a couple weeks, then met, then I broke it off the next day.
She had a good personality and all. Checked up on me everyday, wanted to know what I was into and we had similar interests. I knew she was overweight and thought maybe I could look past it, but I couldn't.

My guy friends I told about it were totally understanding. My lady friends I told about it thought I was a jerk.
Interested to see how that plays out here.

No. Not at all. Some people may deny it, but physical attraction, sexual compatibility go a long way in a relationship.

It's not enough that personalities are compatible. It's a package deal unfortunately.

Thanks guys I've never been in this situation before <.< I'm a hermit and just started dating a few months ago. How do women do this all the time?? Breaking hearts left and right lol.

Over text. Would have been another week before we met in person and didn't want to wait that long. Also I'm usually more coherent vs a phone call too.
