and it was something revealed months ago and shown off in Sneak Peak Commercials it's not a huge spoiler that comes out of left field

but because they had been avoiding any and all info for the film they treated it as me being a dick

but to me if a detail is revealed months in advance and even discussed on talk shows i say it's not really something you should get angry about

am i right?

Some people avoid watching trailers/previews nowadays due to all of the rampant spoiling in them. Just because you've already been spoiled about something doesn't make it right to spread that around and spoil others.

Marvel's made it clear that they weren't hiding this info for GOTG Vol.2

And yet, you're still not the arbiter of what is and isn't a spoiler, so you probably shouldn't be talking about plot details from movies that aren't even out yet with people who are actively trying to avoid being spoiled.

Short of you being willing to elaborate on exactly what it is you spoiled (preferably in spoiler tags, obviously), and it being blatantly obvious and unspoilery (as opposed to what I'm assuming you spoiled), I'm going to side with the person who thinks you're a dick.
