Kind of silly for it to be deleted. There really wasn't much flaming. Just a heated debate. I are sad : /

Anyway, on circumcision; it was a cult activity that traced back into the book of Genesis. It was perpetuated by Judaism, and in early American culture advertised as a way to keep young men from masturbating.

There's no practical benefit to performing religious plastic surgery on random infants without any kind of painkiller. It should be illegal.

If you've heard the way an infant screams during the procedure, humans aren't normally capable of those sounds.

I believe you but webmd does say there are benefits. Unless webmd is crap, what site would give good info on this kind of thing?

They had to list something.

Actually, they updated the list. Last time I read it, it listed "How do you feel about it?" as one of the reasons.

Every single one of those risks is so insignificant and unlikely it's almost never warranted. Penile cancer, what a joke.

Which is my point, in this day and age i agree with you. but back then, i think they needed every little thing for survival. Well just my stance on it anyways. Like i said, basically traditional now.

Probably because it was a glaring troll topic. I thought it'd fly under the radar, as most angtheist topics do, which is why I bothered posting in it at all.
