Walter should have become more evil as the show went on. The whole concept of the show came from the idea of a protagonist slowly becoming the antagonist, I didn't like that he redeemed himself at the end because it seemed a little cliche.

Yeah, was going to post this. Remember at the end where he admitted to his ex-wife that he did it all for himself, got Hank and his partner killed, only rescued Jesse last minute and almost killed him, threatened the only people who actually tried to help him, and killed off a woman to hide his complicity and stroke his ego?

He's definitely a bad guy. But he's a fair boss. He only killed that one guy because he was seen at a murder scene. And it was a convenient way to send a message.

How could you rank Jesse as a better person morally than Saul? Jesse killed Gail and sold meth to people in a recovery group among many other things. Saul never got his hands dirty like Jesse.

Jesse is a rich kid who could've done anything else with his life but chose to be a drug dealer because he thought it was cool, fuck him he's not a good moral character.

Re-watching the last season of BB... And Saul does not come out looking good. He would never get his hands dirty, but he is more than happy for others to do it even when it comes to murder.
