We actually get prescriptions for pets once or twice a month. Just a few days ago we filled an antibiotic eyedrop for a cat. I wouldn't want to even bother trying to instill eyedrops into a cat's eyes, but hey more power to the patient who does. Also that makes me wonder. If it's something the pharmacy catches and discusses with both the doctor and the patient, and it's been documented as such, it'd fall on the doctor then assuming the pharmacist doesn't outright refuse to fill the prescription. But it gets complex fast, so I couldn't really say.
