They went to colleges a few hours away but he ended up transferring to her's so they could be closer together and proposed to hear and everything after they finished school. Not too long after they were engaged, she dumped him via text message and moved in with this complete dirtbag and broke up with a few months later anyways. Even her parents were fucking furious at her and took my friend's side.

Let her know that she's the biggest disappointment of your life and tell her you legitimately thought she was a better person than that. Then make sure everyone she knows is aware of what happened so they all know she has no dignity or integrity.

Revenge does very little to bring you inner peace. That doesn't mean it makes you as bad as the first person, unless your revenge is insane. For instance, killing someone for flipping you off.

What the hell at all the people preaching "revenge". Why should TC possibly do something illegal/stupid to make himself feel better temporarily? That won't make you feel better in the long run.

The healing process for something like this takes a long time, and it won't even feel like it's getting better until a long time down the road. Why do anything that could make things worse for you? I get most people in this topic are inexperienced and don't know this type of pain, but really, revenge?

If it just happened, there's no words that'll make you feel better, TC. That's just the reality. In the long run, you'll be grateful, because clearly she's not worth your time, but betrayal like that never really goes away. You should take stock of your life and where you are. Focus on yourself and self improvement for awhile. It could be in terms of friendships, jobs, hobbies, fitness, whatever, but do something positive and growth oriented. Don't wallow, don't look back, don't look down on yourself. Become a better person for yourself and eventually it'll become clear how it wasn't your fault and how this is a chance to get something real in the future.

Your post was good up until you called her cheating a "mistake".

I forgot that she was doing it for 2 years. Yeah, that's well beyond a mistake, but she still doesn't deserve to have her privacy destroyed like that.

I should also mention that I was speaking in general when I wrote that, not in this specific case. She absolutely deserves to be shamed for cheating for that long, but people should avoid showing nudes as revenge in general.
