When I scratch that spot on her butt just above her tail, she starts licking everything around her. This is new. She didn't do this before. It's definitely only happening when I trigger that spot.

Was this caused by a firmware update? Is there a hotfix for this behavior yet?

My cats do that too, well 2 of them do, also biting, they will alternate between licking and biting

One of my cats that passed away did that. It was the cutest thing. You pet that butt spot and she involuntarily starts licking her paws or whatever is right in front of her face. Adorable.

My cats get excited when I do that and make it to where I need stitches if I do it for too long. My dogs go nuts when I do it to them and end up getting really playful.

My recently-deceased cat would do that. Scratch right above his tail, and he'd start compulsively licking his chest.

I gotta try that. All the other things online that people say ALL cats do just don't work on mine. They aren't jumping away from cucumbers or going into circles made out of things. But they do chase laser pointers, that's something they all do to some extent. It's the way the light is seen in their eyes, it stands out so much compared to everything else that the brain thinks it must be prey.

Gamefaqs removed the ability to hit enter between one's post and the automated sig generated afterward. Perhaps to try and prevent people from just making really long posts of blank space (not that this is hard to sidestep).

So I use a period now.

Because I don't need to.

Something like a break tag would be pointless. A period is fast and requires only one extra button strike than putting a space used to.

This is the second time someone has actually questioned why it even gets done anyway. So it doesn't seem to bug most people anyway.

I basically have to use < P > < /P > < P > < / P > at the end of every post. I don't recommend it to anyone not as OCD as me about formatting.

Basically, every time GameFAQs does a major code update, they usually break all of my old workarounds, and I wind up having to come up with new, more convoluted ways of doing things.

My cat has fleas. She's so sensitive in that spot right now because she has an active flea infestation in that area. I checked her when I noticed this behavior and didn't see anything but dandruff. Today I saw flea feces and then an actual flea crawling on her. I've got her and my other cat treated and I'm now in the process of cleaning my house, including using this flea-kill spray I also grabbed at the vet.

Happy birthday to me. Oh yeah, I turned 29 today. This is not how I expected to spend tonight.

There are some dogs that are supposedly cat-like in some of the ways they act. However, due to differences in the hardware, they do not support homebrew cat hacks.

The cat I was talking about in this topic walked up to my house as a kitten nine years ago and asked for a home. She's been my little snuggle buddy ever since, but hasn't been very social with others most of her life. When we got our younger cat as a kitten two years ago, they immediately became best friends and the older one has become more social.

This of course means the fleas will only have spread worse.

fleas are garbage

and they're evolving around here to be immune to just fucking everything
