Series 2013 5 dollar

MA 39977993

Its in used condition unfortunately. Now this is the kind of cool serial number somebody would want to buy, but where do I sell it? would it sell for significantly over five dollars to make going through the hassle worth it? I doubt it.

I have another I also got with a decent serial, but a number or two away from being real sweet

Series 2006 five dollar

Good, I was going to suggest looking into selling it. Nice to see you were already on that track. I hope you get a good deal on it, I e heard that some unique ones sell for quite a bit(I font remember any numbers though).

I dont know if ebay would be the best place or a currency auction/sale kinda place.

See, I've been watching serial number videos for a couple weeks now, and the people on them are wowed by a lot of things, so if a dude pulled this serial he'd be like WOW, HOW AMAZING PALINDROME

but how much could I sell it for? 6 bucks? ten? it has to be enough over 5 to make it worth it to sell

I shot a comment to a youtuber that has a bunch of serial number videos(along with metal detecting, coin roll/bill strap hunting, etc) so i'll see if i can get a reply.

Actually, money with unique or symbolic serial numbers are considered collectors items and you can indeed sell some of them.

MORESO if the number has a star beside it, which is a printing mark.

Yeah, I first started looking for star notes, now i check every serial i come across if I have time. Being a cashier this is now the best part of the day, when I can get five solid minutes with no customers and the last one paid with cash so I can rifle through all the $$$$

First I need to see about what its worth. I'm looking at radar(not called palindrome in the currency world) examples, and those are all in good condition. mine is in circulated condition, been folded a little, a bent corner...

http://coolserialnumbers.com/Radars.aspx

I see a circulated $1 radar on there going for 35, but it has a binary number, just ones and zeroes, so that might increase its value. Now of course what people ask vs what people will pay is different, but going off those examples I might be able to make 10+ dollars.
