Batman: Return of the Joker (NES)

This was quite the Batman game. Different weapons for Batman's gun and shoot em' up sequences to mix it up. There were some tricky parts and I felt some of the boss fights you can just tank through them. Solid game.

Hmmm. My issue is that the 2nd game was just the opposite of dark and edgy, which is what I wanted. The lure of a revenge story is my only reason for maybe wanting to play it. Plus the villain in 2 was kind of a loser

Had to beat the final boss twice because the game crashed at the end of the credits and it didn't save that I'd beaten it.

First time I've ever played a Halo game. It was kinda like Half-Life 1 with better controls and graphics but weaker level design and atmosphere.

Star Fox 2 (SNES Classic Edition)

I played the easy center path on Star Fox 1, which was the only one I could ever beat back in the day (and the one that has Space Armada, the best level) and it felt like 1993 again. I knew where every enemy and every power up was going to be, and I ended up getting 100% on every level but the first (95%) and the last (96%). 0 deaths, 0 bombs used, 0 damage to wingmen. I forgot how much I love this game.

Played Star Fox 2 as Falco, got assigned Miyu as my wingman. Beat it in 120 on the timer with 0% damage to Corneria, got a C rank. Could've gone faster but I wanted to do every encounter I could. It's fun but feels very content-light, I think it would've been a disappointment for full price in 1995 or whenever.

This was a fun Japanese Action/Platformer game where you play as a guy named Harry who wields a giant hammer to smash ghosts with. Very impressive graphics for the Game Boy.

I played through a bunch of the Gensan series a while back. Pretty solid games. I think I stopped on the GBC puzzle-platformer for some reason. The PSP sequel was kind of a mixed bag, too.

Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix (PS3)

Third playthrough of KH2, I feel like it's the first time I really have a handle on what's going on the whole time. (Granted, the first time I played it, I'd never even heard of Chain of Memories so there was a lot that didn't make any sense at all.)

One of the best looking games I've seen in awhile, difficulty balance is not so beautiful though. Gonna pass on S ranks probably.
