In that scenario, SMRPG probably goes out in round 2 or 3 instead of getting a cinderella run. Without that cinderella run fresh on people's minds, SBAllen would choose to snub SMRPG from 1996's pic for the sake of variety. Without SMRPG in the match picture, 1996's day vote would be more like its night vote and 2000 would have a strong chance of winning.
