Pirateking2000 06/01/17 2:30:44 AM #103:	CHAPTER 9 (NIGHT 4): Evil Never Sleeps -- As night falls on this bloody day, a feeling of unease fills the air A crimson fog rolls in! -- Quan Chi mends his wounds with his magics “Hmm…what’s this?” Quan Chi breathes in deeply! “MMmmm…I smell something…something...deliciously malevolent!” Quan Chi chuckles to himself “Still, whatever machinations are at play…it shall fail against me.” Quan Chi waves his hand and glowing lights shine on the border of his camp. The fog dissipates from his surroundings! “Interesting…I wonder who is behind this? Perhaps this is worth investigating…” -- Cassandra is roasting up a hunk of meat as the strange fog rolls in. A chill rushes up her spine “Brrr..what the heck?” A twig snaps nearby Cassandra gets up and cautiously takes out her sword as she approaches the source of the noise “Hello..? Show yourself!” There was no response Cassandra’s eyes darted every which way. Was something really here or was she just being paranoid “Was it just my imaginati-“ Cassandra is immediately taken to the ground as something tackles her from the shadows “AGRGH WHAT THE F-“ A red canine esque creature with pointy ears and green eyes lets out a strange howl that somehow also sounded like “laughing”! Cassandra tries to hold the beast at bay as it chomps at her trying to bite down on a critical area! As Cassandra continues to defend herself, the monster reveals a black tentacle like tongue which begins to grope her as it cackles “OH HELL NO!” Cassandra has a surge of strength and flips the hound off her. Before it could recover she is immediately upon it. She jams her blade into the back of its neck before outright decapitating it “What the hell is going on here!?” The sound of more cackling is heard! It grows louder and louder as it approaches! Not wanting to stick around to face a larger group of those things, Cassandra bolts off into the woods! -- Bendy is running like mad as a pack of those demonic hounds chase him down “Oh no oh no oh no oh noooohooohoho!” Bendy sprints as fast as he can and rounds a corner! What was he going to do!? What w- Suddenly a pair of hands from the shadows clamp around his mouth and drag him into the darkness! Bendy can only muffle in fear as he is dragged away into the darkness! It was only a matter of time until whatever this thing was finished him…or maybe it would toy with its food! Oh please let it not be that! Just make it quick huh!? “…Keep quiet” Bendy blinked as the source of the noise sounded more human than horrific. Still how could he know for sure!? Ever since that weird fog came things have gone crazy! Was this the doing of those weird suited guys? The pack runs by but one stays behind for a bit sniffing around. Hiro Hamada greeted Bendy “You okay?” Bendy worriedly nodded! “W-what the heck is all this!?” Hiro shook his head “Your guess is as good as mine at this point. This place doesn’t seem to operate on regular logic…Although I think we can both agree that heading out in the dark with those things running around isn’t exactly the best plan Bendy couldn’t exactly argue with that “So…what do we do?” Hiro Hamada peaked out to see the situation before addressing Bendy “We hold out till sunrise. If those things are still around at least it will be easier to try dealing with them in the daylight rather than now” Bendy agrees…heck anything to not deal with those things. Bendy and Hiro stay in the hiding spot for the night! Who knows, maybe he could stash some loot here in the future if he survives! -- A group of impish looking monsters emerge from the fog and surround Stan Pines base “Oh great, more freaky crap!” While still a bit beaten from his encounter with Quan Chi, a bandaged up Stan Pines takes out a baseball bat and readies himself “You want me!? Come and get me ya demon freaks!” The imps laugh like mad! One of them suddenly jumps at Stan Stan yells and takes a swing! The imp is smashed and is sent flying into a tree! It explodes into blood upon impact! The rest of the impish entourage growl about what just occurred and decide to just go at him all at once! They all charge at the old man “HAH! YA COMIN HUH!? LET’S SEE WHAT THAT GETS YA!” Stan swung the bat like mad smashing imps all over the place with each swing! As more of them manages to grow closer and latch on to him he had to resort to kicking them off! Still, he was able to brutalize a large number of them even with his current state! Suddenly one of them surprised him from behind and latched on to his back! His chomped down near its neck “ARGH WHY YOU SON OF A-“ Stan managed to yank it off him before it could do some real damage! “OH YOU WANNA PLAY IT LIKE THAT HUH!?” The other imps looked up at him and momentarily paused “WELL HOW BOUT THIS-“ Stan chomps off the imps head then holds its decapitated body out for all the imps to see! Their eyes widen in terror as Stan squeezes its body, forcing a torrent of blood to fly out from his neck! The imps shriek and run away as Stan beats his chest and roars “AND DON’T YOU COME BACK!....Aouuughowwwww….could have done without the chest pounding…” Stan tends to his wounds, hoping that no more of those freaks return! -- Wally West finds himself in a blood drenched wasteland with a red moon hovering above! “What the…how’d I get here!?” “Wally…” Wally West turns to find Artemis crucified among other dead tributes! Wally just stands there dumbstruck “Artemis...what the hell is all this!?” Artemis just gazed at him with a judgmental stare “Why didn’t you find me in time? Why weren’t you fast enough?” Wally couldn’t respond… “Why didn’t you save me? Why did you let me…” Wally’s eyes grew wide! Artemis combusted into shrieking flames as the corpses of the fallen began to fall apart and descend into the darkness! All Wally could do was run away, but even then the ground would give out from under him! He would plummet into the darkness! -- “No…noo snrk..mrgrrgmmm…” Wally tossed and turned in his sleep waking Dexter up “Urgrm…what’s going on with him” Dexter rubbed his eyes and reached for his glasses. It was at this moment he heard a giggling “Huh?” Dexter squinted into the dark and saw a blonde girl smiling back at him “…Deedee? What on earth are YOU doing here!?” Deedee only giggled and danced away into the darkness “Hey hold on! Get back here!” Dexter chased after Deedee but she seemed to become farther and farther away no matter how fast he ran…not that that was surprising. He wasn’t exactly a runner. Maybe Wally would be better suited to this ta-“ Dexter notices Deedee dropping something before she totally disappears into the night “Agrgh stupid girl! How the heck did she end up here?” Dexter approaches the object she dropped to find a strange rock like necklace “Oh?” Dexter inspects it and discovers that it is the same type that monstrous spider had earlier! Oh boy…if Deedee had this on her...argh best not to think about that! Well, he was awake now anyway! Dexter retrieves the rock and heads back to camp to study it. Wally’s sleep ramblings would be annoying, but he should be fine… -- Princess Clara sleeps peacefully now that her wounds were mended. Uncle Chan and Tommy Pickles also managed to sleep despite Clara’s snoring! It probably wasn’t best for them to be sleeping at a time like this though… The crimson fog approaches the sleeping little morsels… As the fog is about to cover them like a blanket it suddenly pauses The fog temporarily takes the shape of a human nose and sniffs at the camp’s border “BLEEGEHGHEHGH” The fog yelps and retreats like an injured puppy from whence it came. A glowing green light pulsates around Uncle Chan’s camp. It is accompanied by a few other abominations “Ohhhhhhhh…okay…uhh…take it easy” A tiny imp starts prodding at his ankle with a miniature trident “Okay, uh uh, not dealing with this!” Coop steps on the imp! The dog monster snarls in response to this! Coop tries to run away but doesn’t get far! The various monsters pin him to the ground under the crimson light of the moon “OooOoOoOo dear, how unfortunate for youuuuuu” A weird looking red guy stood above him “Have you never watching horror films? Going out on your own to do your private business? Ohohohoho you were just asking for this I am afraid!” Coop gritted his teeth “And who the heck are you!?” HIM’s teeth glistened as he smiled “I go by many names! Most are unable to bear hearing them though! To know my true name is to know the essence of fear and the madness it brings! You may just call me HIM however…” “Essence of fear? Really? HIM makes a quick upward motion to dislodge Coop and sending him back to the ground…if only he had Megas…maybe then he could have done more! However, without Megas he was just some heavy guy who was no match for an evil force such as HIM! Coop gurgled on blood as HIM glanced at his minions waiting patiently “Ohohoho don’t think I forgot about you my darlings!” HIM clapped and the minions all piled on the dying Coop! HIM floats up to a tree branch and looks down at the spectacle! As Coop is torn to pieces, HIM slowly giggles…eventually those giggles morph into maniacal echoing laughter! Anyone who wants some good eats should make their way there! Another voice joins in “Yeah just, y’know, try not to get killed on the way there!” The voices go silent -- Wally scratches his head at the news but decides its best that they at least stock up. “Yo Dex, I’m gonna head over there. As Clara swung her blade it collided with one of them causing it to bounce off helplessly! Hiro tried to subdue the irrational princess by trying to wrestle away her weapon only for her to kick him away “Argh damn it!” As all this was going Tommy grew disgruntled at all the ruckus. He started to tear up which eventually lead to a crying fit! Princess Clara is momentarily distracted! “Oh! Where are ya buddy!?” Before Wally could even begin searching, he Is smacked with incredible force by something sending him careening into a nearby tree Wally groaned and as he recovered he saw the attacker! A small creature with reddish skin and red hair lumbered in place. While most of its body was small, its right arm was massive causing the monster to hang to the side a bit! The arm appeared to be made of stone and pulsed with energy from the various cracks “Wait…what…” As Wally looked closer he noticed torn up remains of a lab coat hanging from the monster! “…Dex?” The monster rows and swings its massive arm! Wally manages to duck as the tree above him is smashed to pieces! Wally dashes away as the tree falls! “Dex! Snap out of it man!” The monster ignores him and begins chucking anything he can get his hands on at Wally! Wally takes out his sword and tries to just dodge and parry away smaller debris for the time being! He tells her to watch Tommy while he goes to scout the area for the source of that feeling. One does not get the willies for nothing! “Just try not to…overdo it unless it is necessary” Clara nods while holding Tommy. Uncle Chan heads out! -- After the demise of Dexter, Wally makes it his mission to track down that demon. After travelling around for a good while, he stumbles upon a cave. He hears noises coming from inside! Wally heads inside and finds a clearing where three people are gathered “Shhh get down!” Wally is suddenly grabbed by someone and brought into a hiding spot. A girl with raven hair holds a finger to her mouth. Wally follows her example! “So will that be all that is needed darling?” Quan Chi nodded while standing in the center of a large occult circle. In certain positions along the perimeter of the circle, seven stones with unique demonic runes carved into them hovered in the air glowing a furious red! “It shall take much time, but so long as this area remains secure, things should work out without any issue.” A third man spoke up “Right, so my job is just to guard the entrance and make sure nobody comes snooping around in here right?” Quan Chi glanced over at Grunkle Stan! “Indeed. If we are successful in this ritual, you shall be handsomely rewarded!” Grunkle Stan folded his arms as if expecting something. Quan Chi rolled his eyes and looked at HIM With a twirl of his claw a briefcase full of money appeared in Grunkle Stan’s hands! He grinned widely! “Now we’re talking! You can count on me “boss” heheheh!” HIM smiled “Well I see things are set up nicely over here! Now if you will excuse me gentlemen, I need to go deal with a small issue!” HIM suddenly vanishes in a haze of crimson smoke! Grunkle Stan rubs his neck “Man that fruity guy is weird huh?” Quan Chi just glared at Stan “Don’t you have an entrance you should be guarding?” Stan sighed “Yeah yeah (ya freaky wizard…)” As Stan turns away grumbling, Cassandra and Wally hastily leave the cave and get a safe distance away “What the heck was that about” Cassandra filled Wally in on what she heard “I was tracking that old fart when this weird red guy showed up and offered him something. I followed them to this cave where that warlock guy was talking about some “ritual” that is going to “end the game”. Judging from the freaky set up they got down there, I am not expecting anything good to come from it!” Wally nodded “That demon freak is not to be trusted. If he is involved, this can only mean something bad!” Cassandra nodded in agreement “We need to put a stop to this little operation they are working on…but we can’t rush in there blindly. That wizard guy looks tough and judging from your tone, I take it that red guy won’t be easy to deal with either huh?” Wally looked away for a moment “Yeah…” Cassandra sighed “Maybe we can find other people to help. He didn’t seem to be addressing HIM as his back was turned when HIM finally appeared “How adorable! You should know though that praying won’t help…so why don’t you be good and j-“ Suddenly Uncle Chan does a 180 and a green beam of energy fires out of the lizard he is holding. It collides directly into HIM “W-WHAT!?!?” The beam seemed to actually cause HIM pain as Uncle Chan continued to channel his attack! “Urrgh…”Good” Magic…Blech!!!” Uncle Chan rose up and started hopping on one foot while holding the lizard in front of him “Yu Mo Gui Gwai Fai Di Zao… Yu Mo Gui Gwai Fai Di Zao… Yu Mo Gui Gwai Fai Di Zao!” HIM spasmed in the air while roaring. Without a word, Uncle Chan grabbed the person and flipped them effortlessly over his shoulder, slamming them to the ground! He then put them in a hold! “Woah hold on old man! We’re friendly! Friendly!” Uncle Chan raises an eyebrow as he turns toward a young woman with black hair running into view. He then glanced down at the young man with fiery hair groaning in pain “Owwwww…” Cassandra smiled and raised her hands “Heheh, sorry about sneaking up on you! Could you let my friend go, we actually wanted to talk to you” Uncle Chan glanced back down at Wally “Yeah letting me go would be nice. Please? Thank You?” Uncle Chan sighed and let Wally go before getting up and dusting himself off “So what do you two want with an old man like me hmm?” Cassandra spoke up! “Yes, well…allow me to explain…” Cassandra then goes into detail about the current situation in the game. A barrage of arrows suddenly fire at Wally and he speeds off to the side! The arrows dig themselves into the spider instead and it eventually vanishes! The lady demon whips out a sword of flame engages the boy! Strike after strike his swung as they continuously connect with each other! They eventually are stuck in a stalemate when the lady addresses him “Wally, let’s stop this! You can’t beat HIM! Let’s go home” It was speaking with Artemis voice. Some of the arrows strike the HIM heads in the eyes, interrupting their attack as they scream in pain and shake their heads around Wally falls to the ground as HIM approaches. Suddenly Wally rushes forward under HIM. This works out…poorly as sharp centipede like legs begin to slash at him, tearing his suit apart and rending his flesh! “Shit no!” It doesn’t stop, the sharp appendages continue battering around and slashing him up immensely. This was basically a dead zone to be in for him! He is beaten around so bad he drops his bag and his bow under HIM!
