Absolutely love it. Anyways, the film focuses on the lives of four interconnected people. The son, the mom, the girlfriend, and the best friend. I was into heroin and meth pretty bad for most of the last 6 years and literally found it searching for "good heroin movies" or something a few years ago. At the time I thought it was overly dramatic but really it does a fantastic job at showing the outlook of drug addicts. Everything is just suffering regardless of consequence to be able to get the next bag and be able to spend the next few hours actually able to see beauty in the world again.
